Klunk & Millan wins two Gold ADDYs

Allentown—Klunk & Millan captured two prestigious Gold ADDY Awards at the 2009 Greater Lehigh Valley ADDY Awards. Klunk & Millan received awards for all seven of its entries, also securing three Silver ADDYs and two Bronze ADDYs. Sponsored by the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club and the American Advertising Federation, the awards show was held Friday, March 6, at Brookside Country Club in Macungie.

Klunk & Millan's first Gold ADDY was awarded in the sales promotion category for a casebook developed for the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center as part of PENN Medicine's $1 billion fundraising campaign. As part of its casebook creative development, Klunk & Millan integrated an Abramson Cancer Center charity bracelet, similar in style to cancer awareness bracelets, into the Center's casebook design.

Klunk & Millan's second Gold ADDY was earned for a video sales presentation developed for kgb USA, a worldwide telecommunications company. Designed to promote the introduction of kgb USA's “ask us anything” text messaging service within U.S. markets, the video presentation encouraged kgb USA employees to test the new service while entering their text messages in a prize contest.

Over the past six years, Klunk & Millan has received 37 ADDY Awards. The Lehigh Valley ADDY Awards are presented by the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club, an organization dedicated to strengthening the regional advertising community and promoting advertising excellence throughout the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.
